1. Website operator and contact
This website is operated by Zunarethivessia Apiary Ltd, with correspondence address 42 Meadow Lane, Shrewsbury, SY2 5PE, United Kingdom. Questions about these terms can be sent to info@loraventhessique.com.
These Terms & Conditions govern use of loraventhessique.com and the way website enquiries are handled. They do not replace any separate written terms agreed for a specific sale, collection, visit or service.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By using the website, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree, you should stop using the site. We may update these terms to reflect changes in the website, business practices or applicable law. The version available on this page applies from its stated effective date.
3. Website information
We aim to provide useful and accurate information about the apiary, seasonal honey, beeswax products, bee pollen, gift requests and apiary-related services. Beekeeping is seasonal, so product colour, texture, aroma, quantity and availability can change. Photographs illustrate the type and character of our work but should not be treated as a guarantee that every future batch will look identical.
Availability shown or described on the website is not a binding stock commitment. An enquiry becomes an agreed order or arrangement only when the relevant details have been confirmed directly, including item, quantity, price where applicable, collection or delivery arrangements, and any other material conditions.
4. Enquiries and communications
You are responsible for providing accurate contact details and enough information for us to understand your enquiry. We may ask follow-up questions before confirming availability. Sending a form or email does not oblige us to accept a request, reserve stock indefinitely or provide access to an apiary on a particular date.
We may decline or postpone a request where stock is unavailable, weather or colony conditions make an apiary activity unsuitable, information is incomplete, the request would create an unreasonable safety concern, or another legitimate operational reason applies.
5. Honey and hive products
Natural honey can crystallise, vary in colour and differ in viscosity or flavour between harvests. Those characteristics can arise naturally from floral source, storage conditions and seasonal conditions. Beeswax can also vary slightly in tone and aroma. Such natural variation is not by itself evidence that a product is defective.
Product descriptions are intended to be practical and proportionate. Unless specifically agreed in writing, no description should be interpreted as a promise of a particular sensory result, colour match or identical appearance between separate batches.
6. Prices, payment and collection or delivery
Where prices are discussed following an enquiry, we will state the applicable amount and any relevant collection or delivery charge before an order is finalised. Payment arrangements may vary according to the type and size of request. You should check the agreed details before payment.
Collection times must be arranged. If delivery is available for a particular order, delivery estimates are given in good faith but may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control. Responsibility for an incorrect delivery address supplied by the customer may rest with the customer where the error causes additional cost or delay.
7. Cancellations, returns and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms removes rights that consumers have under applicable UK law. Where statutory cancellation, rejection, refund or remedy rights apply, those rights take priority over any inconsistent wording in these terms.
Because the website itself does not complete an online checkout, cancellation and return details relevant to a particular transaction should be confirmed when that transaction is arranged. Perishable, sealed, personalised or date-specific items may be subject to different legal rules depending on the circumstances. If a product arrives damaged or materially different from what was agreed, contact us promptly with the relevant details so the issue can be assessed.
8. Apiary visits and practical guidance
Any apiary visit is subject to advance agreement, weather, colony conditions, site conditions and reasonable safety instructions. Bees are living animals and their behaviour cannot be guaranteed. We may change, postpone or cancel an apiary visit where conditions make the planned activity unsuitable.
Visitors must follow reasonable instructions, wear any protective equipment that is required and disclose relevant practical concerns before a visit where they may affect safe participation. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
9. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website. In particular, you must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to restricted systems, interfere with the operation or security of the site, introduce malicious code, scrape the site in a way that materially burdens its infrastructure, impersonate another person, submit unlawful material, or use contact channels for abusive, fraudulent or unsolicited bulk communications.
We may take reasonable measures to restrict access where misuse, security risk or unlawful activity is suspected.
10. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the text, visual design, original photographs, branding and other original material on the website are owned by or licensed to the website operator and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may view the site and make ordinary personal use of its content.
You must not reproduce substantial parts of the site for commercial use, remove ownership notices, falsely present content as your own, or create misleading copies of the website without permission. Normal linking to public pages is permitted provided the link is lawful and does not imply endorsement or partnership that does not exist.
11. External resources
If the site later contains a link to an external resource, that link is provided for convenience or reference and does not automatically mean we control or endorse the external content. External services operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
12. Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Subject to that principle, we are not responsible for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, misuse of the website, failure to follow agreed storage or handling guidance, or reliance on general website information in circumstances where specific professional advice would be appropriate.
The website is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free operation or that every piece of information will remain current indefinitely. We may maintain, update or temporarily restrict the site where reasonably necessary.
13. Privacy and cookies
Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Information about cookies and similar technologies is provided in our Cookie Policy. These documents form part of the framework governing use of the website.
14. Governing law and disputes
These website terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply because of where a consumer lives. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes that cannot be resolved directly.
We encourage users to contact us first so that straightforward concerns can be investigated and, where possible, resolved without unnecessary escalation.
